PartnerStack is one of the best platforms for building a partnership channel, but it’s built explicitly for B2B SaaS companies. This is one of my favorite PRM solutions because it allows you to grow your partnership channel in different directions. Their platform helps B2B businesses to recruit all kinds of partners, whether that’s an agency, reseller, influencers, affiliates, etc. Also, PartnerStack has the most straightforward, easy-to-understand, and clean product designs I have seen within the space.

  • Straightforward to use interface.
  • Seamless integration process.
  • Marketplace that provides program exposure.
  • Pricing is at the higher end of the prm software space.
  • They have a massive partnership network, but you cannot reach out to prospective marketplace partners directly through the platform.
  • They lack the ability to analyze granular SaaS metrics within the dashboard reporting.
‎There are lots of options for different plans, which are customized to each businesses’ needs. You will typically need to have a conversation with someone at PartnerStack to obtain a quote, but overall, they are expected to range from $1,000+ per month.

Impact was founded in 2008 by a few founders who had extensive experience within the partnership marketing world. In fact, Impact makes managing your media and relationships with partners. It is explicitly designed for advertisers who want a better affiliate marketing platform. The Impact is a comprehensive automation platform that automates everything from tracking, nurturing, and engaging with customers to ensuring they are taken care of after purchase.

  • They provide hands on custom custom integrations, but also offer a "Starter Package" which uses turnkey integrations with Shopify, BigCommerce and many other ecommerce platforms for an easy DIY integration.
  • Managing hundreds of partner relationships within the Impact platform is easy. Impact offers very customized solutions based on the business use cases and allows for brands to easily adjust contracts, terms, tracking requirements and much more.
  • Through Impact's vast partner recruitment network, brands are able to easily curate lists, recruit partners, and negotiate terms -- all within just a short period of time. No more spreadsheets and keeping track of hundreds of partnership term changes across your computer.
  • Impact added live chat functionality within the platform, but it can still use some improvements to the message management. If you have ongoing conversations and negotiations with more than ten partners, it might get a bit overwhelming to manage these chat messages in the portal.
  • The Impact influencer discovery network is still fairly new, so double check the creator engagement metrics within the platform before attempting to recruit partners.
  • Although Impact has a large publisher and influencer database you can utilize to recruit partners, you'll still need to thoroughly vet out the potential partnerships to ensure they're the right fit for your brand.
If you're looking for a custom integration and set-up with their onboarding team, you'll need to contact Impact for pricing terms. For brands on the "Starter Package" you can expect to pay $30/month + 3% usage fee on partner payouts.

What is a B2B Affiliate Network?

B2B affiliate networks are networks that facilitate partnerships between businesses, where one business (the affiliate) promotes the products or services of another business (the merchant) in exchange for a commission. These networks are similar to traditional affiliate networks, but they focus on business-to-business (B2B) relationships rather than business-to-consumer (B2C) relationships. B2B affiliate networks can be a valuable marketing tool for businesses, allowing them to reach new audiences and generate sales through partnerships with other businesses. The affiliate business typically promotes the merchant's products or services through its own marketing channels, such as its website, email list, or social media following. When a customer makes a purchase through the affiliate's referral, the affiliate earns a commission on the sale. B2B affiliate networks can be a great way for businesses to find new partners and expand their reach.

Does Affiliate Marketing Work for B2B?

Affiliate marketing can be an effective marketing strategy for businesses-to-business (B2B) companies. Affiliate marketing can be particularly effective for B2B companies that offer products or services that have a long sales cycle or require a high level of trust, as affiliates can provide third-party validation and help to build trust with potential customers. However, it's important to note that affiliate marketing may not work for every B2B company. Some B2B products or services may not be well-suited to affiliate marketing, or the company may not have the resources to effectively manage an affiliate program. It's important for B2B companies to carefully evaluate their goals and target audience to determine whether affiliate marketing is the right fit for their business.

Reach out to businesses that offer complementary products or services and see if they are interested in forming a partnership. 5) Use social media: Social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, can be a good place to find potential affiliates. Look for businesses that have a large following and offer products or services that complement your own. 6) Ask for referrals: Don't be afraid to ask your current affiliates for referrals to other businesses that might be interested in partnering with you. Your affiliates may have connections that can help you find new partners.

What is a B2B CPA Network?

B2B cost-per-action (CPA) networks are networks that facilitate partnerships between businesses, where one business (the publisher) promotes the products or services of another business (the advertiser) in exchange for a commission based on a specific action, such as a sale or lead. These networks are similar to traditional CPA networks, but they focus on business-to-business (B2B) relationships rather than business-to-consumer (B2C) relationships. B2B CPA networks can be a valuable marketing tool for businesses, allowing them to reach new audiences and generate sales through partnerships with other businesses. The publisher promotes the advertiser's products or services through its own marketing channels, such as its website, email list, or social media following. When a customer takes a specific action, such as making a purchase or filling out a form, the publisher earns a commission. B2B CPA networks can be a great way for businesses to find new partners and expand their reach.

In the context of affiliate marketing, B2B affiliate publishers are businesses that promote the products or services of other businesses (the merchants) in exchange for a commission. These publishers use their own marketing channels, such as their websites, email lists, or social media followings, to promote the merchants' products or services. When a customer makes a purchase through the publisher's referral, the publisher earns a commission on the sale. B2B affiliate publishers can be a valuable source of revenue for businesses, as they can reach new audiences and generate sales through partnerships with other businesses. Publishers are typically paid a commission based on a specific action, such as a sale or lead. B2B affiliate publishers can be a great way for businesses to find new partners and expand their reach.

What Does it Cost to Work With a B2B Affiliate Network?

Pricing for B2B affiliate networks can vary depending on the specific network and the services they offer. Some networks charge a flat fee for access to their platform and resources, while others charge a percentage of the commissions earned by affiliates. Some networks may also charge additional fees for services such as account management or tracking and reporting tools. It's important for businesses to carefully evaluate the pricing of different B2B affiliate networks and choose one that fits their budget and meets their needs. Some networks may offer discounts or promotions for new users or for businesses that commit to a longer-term contract. It's also a good idea to compare the pricing of multiple networks to ensure that you are getting the best value for your money.
